No lift pump? When we do a filter change at work on the mondeos , we can't prime the filter as it won't bring diesel through. But the jag xtype can prime through with a primer bulb ( both not fitted with then btw )

Might sound daft, my battery was drained by a lose battery clamp, mainly the red one.

Soon find out , will have to wait til I've found out what feed pressures the pump needs from the tank

have we or have we not got MAF's lol i swear my dci only has a 2wire sensor on the airbox for airtemp i dont mean boost mike, tutuur ( would help if we knew your name ;) ) was on about some 750 reading that goes upto 850 odd if he stabs the throttle...

Afaik the 106 engine isn't much different to the 100 106 doesn't have a overhead air box , as the boost pipe runs over the top on those Cast inlet on the actuall head is the same as every other 1.5 dci lump

tutuur have you got a link to that flash tool you have? the ones ive seen are either cheap copies or the proper 1k+ version

Sure that ain't air temp? My diagnostics won't give a reading for MAF but will for intake air temp might be different on a 100 factory built car funny as I only have 2wires go to the señor on the air inlet to turbo from air box bit. Map is the only other thing I have attached to my air box...

Need this doing I think as my dci is starting to get abit tappy until warmish but still does it a little after. Not compression as I've tested all that to make sure I haven't got a valve not seating properly. What prices and labour ( sp ) I'm i expecting to have them done? I know some can...

Most likely. I know we don't have a MAF sensors just air temp and boost MAP sensor. Wouldn't know how we'd get away with it, changing to a higher band map will only regester More BAR

Wondered that on mine , had a play on the RR at the guys down the road, mapped with more boost but ecu won't give a readout to say it has more , wether I'm getting a big restriction somewhere I dunno. Getting a boost gauge fitted tommorow so I can see what it's actually pushing Pritty s**t...
