I would paint the subframe with halfords truck bed spray! Looks like black crackle paint. Takes a hammering and piss easy to clean. Actaully going to do my sills and wheel arches with it before I put everything back on.

Leave it be. It will look patchy no matter how good the painter is. If you want it's looking new, get it flocked.

Why halfords ? Half of the staff can't even put a bulb in a headlight without making it a massive job lol track rod end £7-10 spring second hand £30-40 a set. Garage cost probs and hour plus tracking( if it needs it ) You will get it done for half that I bet!

Not really, yours are ontop of the wishbones where as non sports have them underneith the bones. Pritty simple to disconnect BUT wouldn't having the anti role bar on after corner weighting make an adverse effect ! :/
