Be careful .. PH1 Renault badge is clipped in with holes left in the outer panel. The new RS badge doesn't quite cover it !
;)
PS: They're a fortune from the Stealers. :(
Quick check on Halfrauds dotcom suggests there are 3 types of 063 batteries..
HSB063, HCB063 and HB063. Pictures might be misleading but the HB looks like it's got thinner connectors than the HCB... but the C might also only relate to the 'calcium' content.
Just some Daisy APC from Tesco will do .. spray it on .. mash it about with a brush of some sorts then attack with a pressure washer or hose. Make sure you scrape the crap out the outer most edge where it all sits (rears).
It's kind of developed over the years but came from this:
Ph1/V6 box, plus panel filter is MUCH improved over Ph2 box. Noise and throttle response improved a lot with the standard Renault filter in, then flatspots improved again with the ITG in there :approve:
Rob .. :star:
All purpose cleaner .. found mine on the bottom shelf of my local Tesco. Daisy is their 'brand name' for cheap cleaning stuff.
Looks like it should have a radioactive warning as it's fluro yellow :dead:
Was about a quid for a litre.
Who cares.. the rears are craaaap anyway ! There's a set of co-ax's in mine and they still sound rubbish. Maybe the connectors/wires have fallen down to the floor ?!
I've got a Fli 12" boxed/amped sub .. and it was more than enough to give some low end punch. No need to fill the boot with...
Head unit with HPF/LPF + sub in the boot.

Had this in my old Clio and the sound was immense, as the standard crappy speakers could cope with everything once the LPF <200Hz was swiched on.
I'm sure a set of £1000 components will sound better, but I'm a proper audiophile and it sounded...
Cars are meant to be driven. It's not a DB5.
The whole 'low milage' culture annoys the cack out of me. Surely cars should be bought/viewed on condition/history.
I can't possibly see how 12k a year + 2 cars will be a cheaper option that one car. Would you really want to do 10k a year in...
How can you possibly nail a set of tyres in 2500 miles !?
I had Paradas on my Clio for about 18 months, did about 15k on them and they were no where near worn out. I hardly pussyfooted about anywhere either TBH.
Hankook V12 evos would be my recommendation, or Uniroyal RS2/3s
Infact, Scott has one for sale which should do you comfortably for a while !

Little update of the GS:
Yozza sitting in the conservatory to be fitted at the w/e !
(imagine picture of Yozza here)
Got home to find my ITG on the table yesterday, which has made the beast perk up a little .. the standard filter in the V6 box made a nice noise but flatspot central ...
