Hokay .. housemate has a laptop with Win:dead:7 on it .. the few times Windows has updated by itself without warning, it's been unable to log into the default profile so all files etc have gone.
The first time it did this, he put all his files back on which took many hours, then turned it...
I'd avoid. Sounds like my old one TBH haha !
Tooooo easy to get an MOT from A.Blokedownthepub so he can sell it with 12 months ticket, then when it all falls apart 2 weeks later, you've got to foot an enormous bill or your own funeral.
Plenty of cars coming up for sale. Keep hunting.
185 to 195 ?
There's a 10mm difference in width across the surface of the tyre dyde .. unless you're rubbing the sump on the floor, there wont be a problem at all !!
Dearest SpongeCake... Locking wheel nuts should already be holding the wheels on.
Might be a better idea to ensure participants have thier locking wheel nut adaptor in the car / pocket.

I'd happily p/x YOUR car for a Trophy ;)
I'd be getting a HPI done on that sharpish. Surely that's a couple £K off market value ?! Something's not right. If it's all kosher, snap it up and sell it on !

I've got PZeros on the front of mine at the moment and they're OK but nothing special. Only done a few miles in it as had it a few weeks, so no idea how soft they are / how long they'll last. Did about 10k on a set of Paradas, swapped over after about 8k front > rear, and there was LOTS of...
Without wishing to p*ss on your pancakes .. I think a meet at a pub would be preferred on a Friday night in February in the UK ;)
If that's the car park I think it is, there's a McD's at one end, and a Halfords at the other ?
There's got to be nicer places within a few miles for a pint and a...
Ph1s are much nicer to drive on anything more exciting than a trip to Tesco.
But as mentioned, both of those sound like sheds to be avoided at all costs !
Doesn't sound like there's a problem any more. 5th gear .. 40mph .. put your foot down hard (accelerator not clutch!) and see if it hits the limiter before you get 100 yards up the road. If it does, it's slipping.
If not, chill out.
Did you get anyone's actual real life opinion than just CS internet engineers, who summarised that as you said the smell was like burning clutch, your clutch needed attention... or did you just go ahead and change it dude ?
I know the RS's have a gearbox leak sometimes, but not sure it affects...
