Intermittent misfire - I'm gonna scrap this soon I'm at my wits end

Have you 100% got the right plugs ?! IIRC they are very specific. Won't be the lambdas. They adjust fuelling, you'll be running rich if they are fubar'd but not misfiring.

    First car, need some input

Changing to dual-optics requires a bit of cutting/pasting of wires... messy job IMO. Where are you based ?

Intermittent misfire - I'm gonna scrap this soon I'm at my wits end

Are the HTs put in the right place now ? Some genius put them point to point on mine, rather than matching the numbers and putting them through the gap on the end where they should be.

Clio 172 Phase 2 bumper on a Phase 1 issues

Rob (Robbos) bodged his in with a couple of bolts somewhere, but i cant remember where. Maybe we had to drill the bumper ?! Still that's karma for you... Ph1's should be Ph1's .. not Ph1.5's ;)

    First car, need some input

Put up a wanted thread ? I'd stick 15" non sport wheels on it, but again that's me.

    First car, need some input

Put some Renault wheels on it .. decent rubber .. lower it if insurance allows. That'll pretty much do. If you like music, put a subtle sub in too .. will do wonders for the sound staging (especially if you can tweak the head unit to cut bass to the front speakers).

    long shot can you help?

http://www.swinton.co.uk/car/shortterm/ i found these guys were cheap, had 2 drivers on gf's clio for ~£20 with £250 excess. Others wanted £30+ for one driver and excess in 4 figures

    New Car Time (Finally)

Tidy. Like the colour. Friend had one a few years ago, nearly new too. Had it for a couple of years then bought an ST2. Don't worry about how much power it has or hasn't got. It is what it is ! Enjoy it dude !! Re: wheel refurb - Rim-tec at Meopham did a cracking job on my Clio wheels...

    Insurance!! Extremely Expensive!!

Things like the cage will have most of them adding a zero to the wrong end of your quote. Get a standard car to rock about in / crash for your first year or three. You won't find cheap insurance the way you're going chap :boring:

    Light scratches.

JoeGT .. get to halfords .. get some Meguires ScratchX and give that a go. Please leave the t-cut in the shop haha !! No need to take it to a bodyshop if it's what I think it is ! Did you just give the car a bath with some suds ? Plenty of info on here how to clean and protect the car ...

Best/cheapest place to buy standard exhaust parts?

Good man. Have a look through the 'for sale' section, you might get lucky. If not, ask for your CS discount when you order on the phone !!

Best/cheapest place to buy standard exhaust parts?

A full exhaust system from Renault is something like £1900 if you have the cat too. Hilarious, I know. I had the stealth, de-catted and it sounded boomy and a bit too chavvy at low revs, but above 3k it sounded ace !! With a cat in for MOT time, it sounded 'sporty' for lack of a better word...

Best/cheapest place to buy standard exhaust parts?

K-Tec Stealth. If you keep the cat in (of course you will for legal and environmental reasons!!) it shouldnt be much louder than standard at all. Also will out last the car, for about £300 !? Standard or pattern parts are as useful as a chocolate fireguard.

    Insurance for 'pool car'

Interesting comment about Sky .. thanks I'm with Greenlight at the moment and Dan's with Endsleigh (the cheapest for him on the //E46 surprisingly!). I will call them once the world goes back to work.
