i cant remember how to now lol. i think it was, disconnect one at a time, and if it did konk out, it wasnt that one, work your way through them until you find the one that still lets the engine run with it unplugged. not 100% sure so best to find out first before it does something wrong

which cylinder is it missing on? swap a lead from one working and see if it moves. if it doesnt then you have something else wrong make sure all your injectors are plugged in properly

ffs, might aswell rip it apart and grease up the screws

has the rack actually got any fluid in it? mine needs something as its acting like a tank

big jub clip and whind it up til its tight.

not fast enough. speed bank 2 is aircon - basicly spins very slow almost stopping. speed bank one is the temp controlled fan unit which is definatly fast lol .

so i can switch it on when i want, for peace of mind that the thing wont overheat ;) its never crept over half before, and i dont like it.

that wont activate the rad fan tho? only lower the operating temp on the flow in which the temp activates at?

cheers mate, i dont want to kill this engine off hence getting all worried about it lol. i know i'll have to bridge it somehow, i just dont want it shorting out as the aircon has to use it aswell ( without my control )

looking at bypassing the fan control on my dci, the engine fan only ever kicks in with aircon and today has made me worry sitting in traffic for an hour, on the M1. the fan never kicked in once and the temp gauge went up one above half way changed a few parts when i got back, temp...

f**k the kit off and go back to hand. get some 1000 wet and dry and sand them back to a complete dull finish, work your way up from 1000-1200-1500-2000-2500-3000 or4000 and then compound them. looks to me you created far to much heat and using the edge of the tool too look like that.

imo slightly pointless , i would think the top speed will be reduce considerably. have a word with Chip on here. he'll be able to tel you the short story of do or dont

tbh, if you got that engine and got dan to fit it, ask him what he thinks should be done. doubtful dan would rip you off saying this, this and that. but it makes sence if the engine going in , is currently out, whack a timing kit + dephaser and such on, then you have god knows how long of...
