Comparison websites are next to useless. I've never ever had a sensible quote from one of them.
Having your parents on the policy is all well and good, but your Dad's 28 years NCB is going to be tied up in his own car...
Try buying a Max Power / FastCar mag .. flick through and have a look at...

When I did my first year with Greenlight.. they were so much cheaper than all but one company. I think I paid 660 FC (all in one go) and there was only one company who would do it for about 700, but the policy...
Zero NCB and <25 y/o male sounds like a nightmare to insurance companies in a stupidly fast small girls car....
Put an ITG filter in and call Greenlight... Modified policies FTW !

If your car is muddy and well prepped below (waxed/sealed etc) then the foam will blow over it .. bubble up and dissolve the grime. You then hose off the foam, and if needed, a quick bucket of suds later will have it looking like new.

ABS works fine. It's designed to un-lock locked wheels.
The tyre skids on ice and locks .. ABS lets go and re-applies pressure..... :rolleyes:
The trick is to drive correctly for the conditions. :rasp:

You should have bought some decent tires :rasp: at least its home now. Once its all melted, the ABS sensors and rings should clear up and (hopefully) it'll all be ok :)

Mine last year was lower (splitter) and had fresh paradas on it .. i still got to work (and home again after it got worse) without the slightest of hitches.
