f**king hell, which muppet painted that? the laquer has been bolocked on to the point of it just about to run. way to much high pressure , and to many heavy coats whats it like to sand ? soft or like a rock ?

think any other car a paint myself, i will wet flat by hand to remove most orange peel. suppose its all down to how you paint the car aswell. high bar pressure gives orange peel from my experiance. and as you said gally, the finish is dictated by the level of ' solidness '

yup thats what i have. new paint - da'd the day after and compounded up. intentions was to make a mirror finish. the bonnet is the only panel i can still see them on. altho mine look more tightly packed then the ones in that photo above.

DF codes are loads on dci's. iv had DF408 DF40* on mine , fuel rail pressure , EGR valve maximum open circuit ignition sounds like an injector fault

put the nut on a few threads, smash the living day lights out of it, once it starts moving, take the nut off and continue to hammer it through with a center punch or something that fits in that hole.

take the negative off the battery terminal, wait say 20 secs and reconnect. thats how i reset it on my car after abs sensor was changed.

Mine does it being lowered :/ iv put it down the top mount under bearings twisting and then releasing making a clunking noise. Cant be all realted to steering racks. Mines E'PaS on the dci btw

nope, cant find a set that fit, iv heard the 1.9 tdi injectors fit by fitting copper colars and a load of hassle piggy backing the ecu's...... iv had my injector tips changed to deliver a better pattern but thats as far as i think anyone has got

Its not as easy as it looks on a little engine. As said vag struggled enough to make a 1.4 fabia engine twin charged without all the reliability issues. Would love to supercharge my dci . Only a few things stopping me.... Common sence / not enough room and injectors ( b******s i hate you adelphi )

vaxuall vxr metalic green ! painting is easy. prep is the key. as for anything else i can think that will be usefull to you. dont buy cheap s**t lacquer !
