I'd say so, quite easily. Put it in lengthways & diagonally instead (the ladies love it like that) ​:rasp: ie: don't put the bonnet into the boot the same orientation as it's fitted to the car, turn it through 90 degrees so the front of the bonnet is facing the side of the car, then tilt it up...

He wont want those, why would he want to buy something that's a direct fit? lol

But that's the boring & expensive way of doing things :rolleyes: & by decent engine I mean dropping a valver, williams or even F4 lump in it, plus his mk1 is pretty decent it just lacks the grunt to make it a hell of a lot of fun to drive, going mk3 will be a massive step back in the fun...

What does age of the car have to do with anything? If the commute is a long one a smaller engine is going to be much better, what is it in distance? I live 8 miles from work but sometimes it can take me nearly an hour to get there. I'd say keep your current car plus insurance companies look upon...
