Richersounds have never steered me wrong. Go talk to them, they know what they are talking about generally, in my experience anyway ! Plus you can't argue with their 'free' warranties either :)

silly question but .. have you tried moving the fader to the front or rear respectively ? friend of mines car sounded AWFUL. i moved the balance around, and it was fine when coming from one side only. he'd screwed up the polarity of one of the back speakers. the fronts sounded ok on their own...

friends car used to do this .. was a radio / speaker issue. Will ask him what he did to resolve it. Have a feeling he sold the car in the end haha !

Surely unless you have something like a Thermos flask going on (double skinned with sealed air inbetween) the metal will just absorb the heat from the engine ? If I were you .. I'd move battery to the boot / glovebox, and get a Ph1 airbox on there, widely known to be the best design for these...
