The higher the octane, the less prone to detonation (explosions) it is, as it is more stable.
The reason (I think) Renault recommend this, is because it's a very high compression ratio engine .. ~11.8:1 ?
Odd that you've had problems with this but if other people are experiencing it too...
Someone will be along shortly to tell you not to bother layering polish ;)
Looks good though...!
Know how you feel about the rain in Wales ! I used to live in swansea, and I think in 5 years, I washed my car once. At least it's clean rain, unlike the rubbish we get in SE England :(
Do it for windows.
OS X can deal with windows formatting with no issues.
Windows will not even see your OS X formatted HDD and will want to format it.
HAHA .. i thought my attention span was short !
My car hasn't had a wash in 3 weeks.. I'm going to win the "CS dirtiest car of the year" award this time round haha :D
Couple of friends have bought them since I've had mine (Hi Darren85 !), and another guy from work was about to by one, but then decided that a 52 plate Cooper S (at 3x the price of a Clio) would be a better idea as the Renault would fall apart.
His Mini has had way more issues than my Clio ...
Re: When BTCC Was f**king awesome.
Superb find.
Fookin loved the BTCC back in the day.. It went the same way as the WRC though.. not enough different manufacturers ! :(
I would, but TBH the 10 hours of double time is worth it, as I do fook all  Plus it'd mean swapping with some miserable bint at work and then I'd have to work another weekend, meaning 3 weeks in without a day off. I can barely bring myself to work on a regular week, let alone a week that...
I know you have to cut these to size to get them to fit on a Clio.. but, what do you do ?
Take 30mm out the middle ?!
Shave a bit off each side ?
Clip a bit off the ends !?
Does anyone have a guide / photos / anything useful ?
Thanks in advance :o

Nice write up.. CPLs are fantastic and very worth while !!
I've been after some NDs for a while ..
[newbie mode]
does the camera detect a lack of light, i.e.: can i use aperture mode, and the camera sorts out the shutter, or do i have to do it all my self in manual mode ?

Cheers :)
Hush your noise... Metcheck said it would be bad today...!
Congrats on being an electrical genius :rasp:
Quali's on now .. but then we can go get some photos if you like ? My car's not clean, and neither will it be before April. Still can't think of anywhere decent to go tho !
