Interesting read .. The higher the number, the less prone to detonation it is (petrol exploding before the spark). The more stable the mixture, then the higher compression and bigger the bang .. bigger bang means more force to send the piston back down, and the more power you get..! :)...

I'd guess lack of coolant (split hose / radiator ) or dead water pump.

That's water temp .. not oil temp sir !! Check the coolant levels.... (and don't take the radiator cap off if it's as hot as i think it is lol)

30 litres of oil ? hope that's a typo. OIL light means lack of oil usually ? Seconded with the dipstick on min... Thoughts .. anyone ?

Good start ! There's some crackers there, with a bit of PS tweaking ;) Two things I learnt from shooting at night .. 1: Shoot RAW (if you can) and get them looking natural (without the yellow/orange glow) within a few seconds on PhotoShop. 2: Use the timer - 2 seconds is enough .. it...
