Yes i see your point, i have very basic skills when it comes to engines, i can build one but i am not a person for all the timing stuff. How off will the timing be with bike carbs and ecu ? I know it will need mapping. But my knowledge only goes so far

Hmm but would a 1.2 mk1 have all those gizmo's? I personally wanted to build the 1.2 engine into an oldschool non electronic ran engine. On bike carbs.

think we are going for R1 bike carbs. So will need a egnition only ecu. What makes are they?

The car is going to be entered into the 1.2 engine car class if that helps

I did a quick google on a dizzy and it can be powered off the crank or iil pump? Unsure how that can work tbh. So i would need carbs and still run the ecu to make the engine run ?

I havent a clue tbh thats why i would like to know :).

lol i don't mind tbh, going from a derv to a r27 will be like stepping in a bugatti :D. altho i think i would have to respray mine nocturn iD colour off the vee's

thankyou. has been a painful task of as rebuild but all is in good terms. the final colour was black with slight purple flakes and a heavy amount of clear coat on top. i did think about going the whole yard and getting sport wings and skirt but i desided not to as i purely wanted a one off...

Mine has done the same thing. But i have a mk2 ph2. Checked all the fuses and changed the bulbs but i still have a dim display. Only can see the writing when its day time :/

Cheers mate. Yeah battery is not standard i think. Previous owner had a powerfull sub install so guess he beefed up battery size

arch liners are in my shed, i have a little work to do underneeth so they are off for the time being. i hate no arch liners aswell lol. im glad i went tvr purple not ford purple. much darker and compiments the mettalic black paint :)

@ cotball- i have a 172 wheel having a retrim atm so when thats back, its going on. black with purple stitching :) as for the arse down stance, the rear spring doughnut's are missing so its just like that. will look more level'ish when i can source some to raise the back abit :) or...
