You wasted £100 by ordering through Next. Same product, 0% finance from the Apple site = £100 cheaper and you would have it in less than a week i imagine.
What size screen do you want?
Id go for a 15"MBP if i was buying a laptop again. (Also use the student discount link in this thread, save yourself some extra money, rather than pissing £100+ down the drain like others in here lol)
When i look on Next they seem to be £100 overpriced.
Eg. 16gb wifi from Apple - £399, Next - £499
16gb wifi and 3g from apple - £499, Next - £599.
Can someone correct this?
iPad with WIFI - No phone contract.
iPad with WIFI and 3G - Need a phone contract to use the 3G aspect. (Internet on the move rather than connecting to wifi )
Students are covered with free applecare if you buy through the link, you only have to pay extra as a student if you want the telephone support or something like that
Also remember you have standard warranty, and apple are known to cover things out of warranty.
I have used my disc drive about twice in 4 months now.
One was to watch an old holiday disc, and the other was pointlessly playing a couple of old CD's to see what they were. Neither important.
I wouldn't worry about the disc drive.
Re: 10% Interest Free @ Apple Store
How do you work that out? Paying 10 x 100 is better than paying 1000, whether you have it or not. Money is always better in your bank rather than someone else's.
