Cheers Kyle, it's running really, really well. Burning zero oil which is a nice change! ;)
It did develop a slight oil weep due to an absent bolt, but Dan@SJM sorted that happily, top bloke :)
Yep. I wanted to get away ASAP because I was worried we'd end up in some French persons stew later that evening.
I remember it vividly, as I wanted a s**t, but didn't dare go in case I was never seen again!
I didn't take any, I basically dumped it on the stand, gave the Samco chap the keys and headed off to find various people. I know @Ed.200 was kind enough to grab a few...
Cheers bud, will have to wait until after LM really. I was going to be at Shakey tomorrow, but if I can't solve it tomorrow morning I won't be running.
Swapping the wheels over did highlight a problem (OMG another problem!!). I need to have a look at my Pure Motorsport stud and nut kit, as one of the studs had worked slightly loose when I went to change them back over.
Need that to be right before the next track day else it could be a...
Cheers Joe, was just nice to have it running well if I'm honest! :)
Good to meet you too bud, and the RB looked and sounded lovely :) I await you showing me the lines at Oulton!
Yeah, as with any oil weep it looked worse than it was, but the new bolt seems to have solved the problem based on my journey home. I now need to clean up the bay again. Suppose the best bit of a white engine, you know when you have an oil weep!
I thought it was ok. It was nice to meet some people off here (best part of the day) and see some of the cars. Was also nice to track the source of my oil weep - cheers Dan@SJM :)
On the whole though, wasn't organised well and I agree with the comments about some bloke on the quad / bike - was...
Very kind bud, yep, I'll take the side repeaters if they are going spare :) I need to drive there on the silver ones, then swap to the black, will there be room on the stand / marks van to store the silver wheels per chance?
Mmm. Looks like it will be the F1s :)
Cleaned the engine up and the inside tonight, and it's now going to be on the Samco trade stand :)
Cheers for all the comments guys, hopefully see some of you tomorrow :)
Cheers Bobert, I am quite chuffed with it, considering I did it! Lol. Took me about 7 hours in the end, but worth it.
At the moment, the F1s are winning the vote ;)
