Gutted, but the planets have aligned (and all that bullshit) and it transpires I can't make CSS. Again.
A close friend has just booked his wedding for that day. So, 3rd year in a row I'm a no show. Poor.
Normally full of 'heroes' who haven't done a proper track day in their life, and so the time on track to bump ratio is a lot higher. I wouldn't do 15 mins let alone 2 hours!
Personally, once you have put the Gripper in it, I think you'd be bonkers to sell it without tracking it for a year or so.
I'm booked on Oulton on the 27th Aug Renaultsport day - book that up.
I'm hoping to do Brands, Anglesey and a few others before the end of the year. You should do the same...
Be a shame if you can't make it bud, that's three that have bailed on me :(
But I understand.
Roll down in the jaaagggg, full baller spec. MicKPM you are more than welcome at mine aswell bud, PM me if you're free :)
3 options;
Cheapest - the way Leew88 has said above, although I don't fancy it personally. If your Aux belt slips and takes the cambelt it will get expensive.
Mid-price - Source the 172 Cup aux belt and alternator setup (incl. brackets) I've just done this for mine.
Priciest - PMS delete kit...
Cheers, I know the dash needs to come out to swap them, at the moment the dials are out of another car. I have them, and have the clear plastic front off them, just need to know if you can get the coloured dial surrounds out and if it's just a case of levering them up with a screwdriver. :)
Tried a search but couldn't find anything. Can you remove the speedo / rev counter 'fascia' surround? They are silver on a ph2 172 and blue on a cup.
If you can remove them, do you just prise them up with a small screwdriver?

This. Also, 2009 means it was due again last year I am afraid. Every 5 yrs. So it was overdue.
When you're looking, get some photos and we may be able to help.
Unless it's the Pure Motorsport front strut brace kit, including top mounts, it will do nothing other than add weight.
Rear strut brace - unless welded onto the top mounts, again will do nothing other than add weight.
Not Normal Dan has summed it up, with the addition of tyres. Decent tyres.
The Porsche team is looking strong, Timo, Romain, Webber and Neel Jani.
