Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc'
Have a look at SGS Engineering bud - great prices and quality;

Do not like.
Way too shouty for me. Needs to be more 'sleeper' - especially for an 'S'. I always view the RS as the louder one.
I'd get the Polo R aswell.
The v6 spoiler is the same as the Trophy spoiler. There is a noticeable difference, and for the v6 / Trophy spoiler it's mainly the cost of the boot struts needed that raise the price significantly over a cup spoiler. But...you can use BMW 1 series engine struts I believe, and SGS engineering do...
Top work old boy, top work. Looks like it's just come out of the factory it's that clean! Madness.
I'm with Rob - before photos are needed for business purposes.
Ha ha! My work here is done! Although I'd rather no be spending on mine at the mo. Bank balance is looking poorly.
Sounds good bud, looking forward to catching up next weekend with a beer or two :)

White Horses? UNICORN! ;)
Haven't stripped it yet Pete, the head is off and the Pistons are absolutely filthy with oil and crap. I'm going to get it on the stand and strip it back and investigate it's oil eating problem when this one has been put in the...

Yep, I was worried about the white in my interior. But when I did it, I was very happy with the result. He who dares wins.
Or ends up with Poo wheels. One of the two ;)
It is reversible iirc, depending on how you take it apart. Mine is non-reversible as we basically just ripped it out! Lol!
ps - effort to put it back, only the same as taking it out, but would need the system regassed etc etc.
Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc'
@Phase1sr - didn't fit the cams as the plan is to supercharge so they won't be needed bud. Sold them to @Chip-mk1.
Hoses - bought them from Demon Tweeks bud. I like the photos as it reminds me of what I have / haven't done! Lol.
@Daniel - jog on! ;) It...
Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc'
Update
Pic Heavy this one I am afraid.
A very productive day with Dan@SJM. We compression tested the engine, fitted and timed up a new cambelt with dephaser, ran in the Cup brake setup so I could do away with ABS and chatted about superchargers. Top...
