I'd suggest giving it a clean and trying it before buying a new one, may just have some gearbox oil on it.
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
No worries, if Dan hasn't got room at his, PM me. As said, can stay here as long as you want.
I'll check CS periodically through the evening.
Chuffed for you that you have it back and it is undamaged! Just a pain you need to hide it for a bit.
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
Lol! Need to fill it with something. The flamer is in the garage, awaiting a new engine so it looks a bit empty with just the shicra!
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
Great news. It's a trek, but you are more than welcome to leave it at mine for as long as you want. PM me for postcode, don't want to stick it on here. :)
:( Sad Bear.
Truly gutted for you mate, and I hope it mends well. Not something you want to take lightly, and if it means missing a season to get it sorted, it is the right decision, no matter how annoying. X
For those not on bookface, can you post the results please :)

Be good if...
Re: Cub 172's Flamer Project
Oh hai!
Cheers Jared and Alex - nice to know it has some fans other than me :) Appreciate the washer blank offer chap - very kind.
Its really not very well at the moment, so a winter of work on it is planned. New engine, with some goodies planned. I complete on...
I can't do Donny now unfortunately :(
Its my sisters birthday (I completely forgot) and she is having a family meal I must attend. Can always meet you halfway somewhere down the M4....
Hero. On both fronts :) I'll give you a shout chap, depends how much / how quickly I can source a Polo Rad and for how much. Can you PM the spec / model of Polo rad I need, if you know?
Good news on Donny James.
Mark / James - i'd snap the hubs up tomorrow, except after moving house and saving for ITBs...I am broke :(
I'll have a set in 6 months. Pllleeeaassseee still be making them. :)
So, the flamer decided to spit all of its coolant out last weekend via a hole in the radiator.
My question is this. I am intending at some point this year to ITB the car, and I am aware people replace the radiator with a polo one. Is it worth me doing that now, or getting a standard 172/182...
How have I not seen this! Absolutely lovely Mr Beal.
I'm jealous. Wheels wise - I wouldn't go black, maybe anthracite. Or something unique.
Epic motor. :)
