Spacers will be easier, else it's subframe etc as above. The size of the spacers will determine how quickly the bearings will get goosed. I've got 15 mm all round, but some run upto 25 mm without too many problems.

It is a lot of work to do on the 1.2. Why will you have it a while? Not worth saving your money and then in a year swap it for something quicker / a 172? Parts should be readily available though.
