This. Need to play it on the hardest setting, with wind, bullet drop etc etc.
Good for a sniping game, which in truth is always going to be repetitive;
Sneak up
Scope targets
Snipe targets
Sneak off again
Rinse and repeat. I like sniper games though, so enjoyed it. I've got it still.
Depends on quite a bit;
- Quaife is fit and forget, gripper needs to come out for maintenance periodically
- Gripper is much more 'noticeable' during everyday driving I.e clunks etc.
- Gripper is plated, Quaife is helical
- Gripper is the more aggressive diff, great for track / racing.
I love...
Pete - I'm gutted aswell :( but, good reason and there is always next year!
Cheers for the comments all, appreciate it! More plans for it engine wise are afoot, but externally / internally it will stay as you see it here (maybe a little dirtier ;))
Thanks Andy. I have to keep sorting them out. Annoyingly, they begin to 'ride up' when they are adjusted as other people use the car. I'm getting much better at it though, following your tuition :) The harnesses mechanisms have loosened aswell, meaning they are easier to adjust.
Bobert - thanks...
Thanks chaps, two years in the building so far :)
Unfortunately, its poorly - eating oil with bad compression. So, an engine rebuild with some additional goodies is on the cards this winter ;)
Lol at someone changing my avatar!!
Cheers for the comments guys. Its a shame the sun didn't come out to play for the photos, but the guys did an unbelievable job.
Agree with Bobert Mugabe, the front end looks like its been replaced. The lights were awful, the grill was a light grey and crap and tar all over it was ridiculous...
Dan - it's a K-tec one, came on the car when I bought it.
Kelv - indeed, 4 of us drove it that day, hardly off track. Was great fun. Poorly though, but it will be back healthier than ever soon, and on track again so we can have another play :)
Personally, I don't like it with the diffuser. Looks awesome as it is
They have been done though, there is a white one on here that has done it, if memory serves me right?
Cheers guys, i'm getting some track wheels in white, probably Superlegggagrgaggaggeggreras or 2118's, with sticky tyres. I do love OEM for the road though :)
Great work guys! So so pleased with it, it looks brand new :)
Personal thanks to Rob and Ant, the attention to detail and work they put in over the weekend was epic, and i'd recommend them to anyone.
Always a pleasure spending some time with you two chuffers aswell!
Waiting for Tim to email me them bud, as my iphone died :(
Proper excited now! Bad news is, I have to fly up to Glasgow on Weds for work now, so on a late plane back, then pack then pick up Timborine early doors!
