Yup, for the next week as well ....
For you maybe, i'll all be f*cked lol. Especially if we've been working on Nick's shed for a couple of hours 1st :quiet:
I put Super in the Golf when i got it back in October as i was informed it would give considerably more power/mpg ...
Made no difference to the mpg, so it now gets the cheaper stuff. The performance has dropped off noticeably mind you (its turbo'd), but as i just sit on the M3, i dont really...
Almost kept to budget, as it currently stands at just over £2.3k, but the spec, ie Bilsteins/Faulkners, cage, etc is considerably higher than i originally intended!!
You're right though, absolutely no point spunking money at the engine at the moment, its more than quick enough to have fun...
Oh the tinkering will most definately continue, currently trying to get hold of a Pugsport exhaust for it as im not so keen on the Magnex drainpipe it currently has. What rust do you mean though? The manifold is currently in its 'changing colour' phase if thats what you mean?

Work colleagues often ask me why i own a saxo when i'm:
1. Not a r****d
2. Not a chav
3. Not a student
3. Earn more than £5k year
I normally tell them i got bored with sh4gging their wife & playing with their kids lego, so mess about with this in the garage instead. As a bonus, this type of...
Awesome spec!!
lol at all the people moaning at you for not keeping it pure, its a 8v rallye, far purer than all the 16v pap floating around these days ... 158bhp is some going ... but well, i see the words Sandy Brown/Colin Satchell & that says it all about the build tbh. Its proper.
Re: the...
