    Cooper JCW v 172 cup

Mine was the supercharged R53. I agree, both the r53 and the turbo'd R56 will pull on the clio but it will not be by as much as many would think.

Interior Goodies - alternative to Sabelt RS Wheel

Fark off Rory McGrath :) Only joking bud, I really wanted the sabelt wheel, but can't stand the blue strip at the top of the wheel.....massive pet hate.

Interior Goodies - alternative to Sabelt RS Wheel

Ant - you need to come down the 'clio boot' we're going to run at Chris's in January.....bring Roberto the hoe with you... Glad you like it, bit of a gamble but I think it paid off!

Interior Goodies - alternative to Sabelt RS Wheel

Cheers dude. Lol - you're more of a perfectionist than me, I can live with the yellow strip. Because racecar = yellow strip.... :)

Interior Goodies - alternative to Sabelt RS Wheel

The flamer is going in for a roll cage, seats etc in a few weeks and i'm going for a 'white and black' interior theme predominantly (cage is white, black sparco seats etc). So, I got Chris (Autocrash) to spray me a few custom bits and bobs. Once again, his work was excellent and he is a top...

South Central/East try to finish a meal. Part 2

FLOL. She actually commented on how she was close to suicide due to spending an evening listening to 'long rod' discussions. Ant and Luke - let down. Sad panda face.

South Central/East try to finish a meal. Part 2

It was much better quality, and good to see everyone again. As Chip said, Budgie and Saner polished it off. I could have, but I was nicely full and as it was nice food I would have preferred to be in 'comfort' rather than uncomfortable but with two free games of a sport I can't play.

    Rear strut brace opinions

As Tony said, they do nothing. Hasn't stopped me buying one as it was £20 and when the roll cage goes in I need a divider / sock dryer in my boot so my luggage / shopping doesn't scratch the back of my seats. That's my logic anyway :)

Well done guys, great to see the hard work pay off. Made up for you both. I'm going to get along this season to see you in action. Equal congrats to Dan, must be awesome to see an engine you built helping a team towards its goal.

FLOL - never fear I'm a one woman man, hence why I did get married! I'm like you, pretty black and white in how I feel about the whole marriage thread! You should trundle along! If not, you should definitely make it to the clio boot sale at Chris's. I want to rub your lovely Bristolian ginger head!

    spacers on the rear question.

They are just longer bolts. I don't know which ones exactly as K-Tec sorted it all out for me as they did it all at the same time as my Bilsteins so set the ride etc in one go.

    spacers on the rear question.

I've got 15mm all round, lowered on Bilstein B14s. I discussed with k-tec quite a bit before getting mine done and they advised going no more than 15mm if I was going to use it hard on track (which I am). Mine is on standard 172 (non cup) wheels, unsure of there offset.

    clio boot sale?

Clio boot is a good idea Chris mate, I was going to stick a thread up this week for early Jan as we discussed, but i'll judge what people say on this thread before I do. PS - how did my bits and bobs go? Can't wait to see them on Tuesday - much excitement :)
