As per the post two up, worth it for heavy track use. If not for track use, I'd leave the standard ones in. My seats, subframes and harnesses etc left me little to no change from £1k. You can get cheaper seats and second hand buys are usually good. I'd have got the bimarco ones, but I don't fit...
My gramps was admitted to hospital on Christmas Eve bud, I won't go into to many details but he has had Alzheimer's for about 6 months and now his body as well as his mind has just given up on him. He's in a bad way and Christmas Day was spent at his bedside with some of my family. My mums not...
Lol at Mr Kettle and Mr Pot. Hope all you cuthberts had good Christmases, mine was sh1t :(
Sad to hear the engine has popped on this one since its been sold. In the short time Luke had it, I grew to admire it fondly.
Mike is bang on, it was me bud, I'm back at my parents in Badby, but I'm a Northampton boy by birth! I did see you in your flamer, but didn't react quick enough for a wave! Your flamer looked good :)
My first spot!
This. Entirely pointless chasing 'lows' on any car IMO. If you'd said - 'what's the best height for improved handling performance' it would be a different story. Ignore me though, I'm clearly too old for this 'scene' sh1t.
Hello chaps. Which seats have you acquired Pete? Good to see swift progress :) If you need any help let me know and i'll bimble down south to help out where I can.
Be good to get some trackdays in the diary that we can all make. I'd love to do Anglesey, Combe and some of the other bigger...
Looks lovely. Interested to see what you do with it, your flamer inspired many bits on mine so I know that Titanium is in a safe pair of hands :)
I prefer clios with a bit of rake, ride set up looks very similar to mine. Needs some spacers though. Looks like a good buy.
Happy days, I agree with you on the date for Anglesey, nice and sunny to enjoy the views :) If you can make Llandow or Bedford would be good to see you to catch up. Second driver on Daves panzer wagon at Bedford looks promising ;)
Ok doke. I'll stop spamming young Nicks threads and enquire about some dates in the new year, try and rustle a few willing bods upto join us, but Anglesey is a definite 'want to do' for me next year. I'll PM you both in the new year.
Do you want to come as a second driver, welcome to head out in mine in exchange for some track wisdom? You'll slide around in the seats a bit but ho hum :)
Fair enough. You doing Bedford on Feb 16th?
I'm up for doing some tracks further afield and bigger ones later in the year (July / Aug), so if you let me know the ones your thinking of I'll tag along if you don't mind. I really want to do Anglesey....
Happy days. Try to keep it below 110 on the way to Le Mans please bud, else the flamer will struggle ;)
I can't help on the technical front, I'm just pleased your forging it and even more power is going the Banana Bus' way :)
Yep, I was largely amused that it ran (before mapping) less on k-tecs rollers than RS Tuning, and yet numerous threads in the last 4 months and half of CS has spent time questioning K-Tecs rollers, particularly in respect to 438s.
I know every rolling road and RR output will vary, but I find a...
I'm on the hunt, but not found anything yet...I'll keep looking but I've two trackdays at end of Feb / early march so I'll need to have bought whatever I'm buying by then...time is running out to be creative :)
Cheers bud, afraid I'm going for 15" as I'll be getting RSRs or 888s so it rules 182 alloys out. Either 2118s, Turbines or Willy wheels are high on the list at the mo. I'll be keeping the silver standards with some Conti tyres on to swap when it's bad weather :)
I bought them from k-tec who beat Demon Tweeks including DT's discount on here, but it was the same time as getting the cage fitted. If you ring them speak to Sean and say you've seen them in my flamer.
Good choice, great seats. I've fitted those on OMP side mounts in mine. They look like this in the car;

You've done a good job of it Kieran mate, but its not my cup of tea. Looks like a lovely BG without the red tape. It's your car though, do what makes you happy.
