Guys, unfortunately the condition of me getting to keep it for free, was under agreement I wouldn't go plastering it all over the internet before K-Tec can finalise a production version. Suffice to say, looking at mine, it doesn't seem to be anything particularly or amazingly different. Unsure...
Hairdryer, dental floss, credit card wrapped in a jay cloth. Basically heat the glue with the hairdryer (lowish heat to not damage paint work), then dental floss and credit card to lever it off whilst the glue is weakened. Then plenty of cleaning.
Only works for the RS badge, the Clio badge is...
Get the standard Renault 172 ones mate, always look good on flame red. And bin the lights. Here is mine, I know yours isn't a 172, but it would look similar (albeit mine is lowered).
438 Cams, Manifold, Exhaust, Induction. And plenty of mapping. I have a project thread here mate, with plenty of debate and graphs;

I'm not massively fussed on the RR figure, more how it drives, and i'm over the moon...
I suspect its the same induction kit they first trialled on mine. And yes, it made a noticeable difference to mine, so unsurprised it made the same to yours.
Luckily, being the first, they have kindly let me keep it in mine until it goes in for ITB's.
Glad you are happy with it! People on here...
Pants. I'm in Herts this weekend, so no rolling shots of the flamer :dapprove:
Good news - may be buying a Micra for the Mrs, meaning I can start the strip / roll cage / buckets job on the interior. Win.
Looks great, really good job done on the minor mods so far and the cleaning up of the flamer. Seeing that manifold has forced me to stop being lazy and do something about mine, its shockingly filthy. How long did the manifold take to do / dry if you don't mind me asking? And what paint was used?
I'm running the Billies mate, and am very happy with them. I haven't been in a car fitted with the Spax so can't comment there. In terms of the adjustable dampening, it may be nice to have, but how often would you actually change it after you had the car set up? I was in Northampton last week as...
Agree with the others, don't break it. But that isn't adding a lot of value to the thread.
In terms of your next car, what model TT / Mini JCW / S3?
If its the older variant of each - i'd get the JCW. I had a 225bhp TT, test drove plenty of S3's in deciding between S3/TT. 12 months later, sold...
29. The requirement for a cheap, fast and trackable car meant I sold the 'grown up' 911 for it. Clios are that good.
I agree with Tony, fun should be the deciding factor in the car you buy, age has nothing to do with it.
The release of much needed equity in the 911 played no part. Honestly ;)
Not read through the entire 9 pages but;
Went in to ask about the new MOT's at my local ATS (not exactly a 'friendly, backstreet' type MOT place) so I trust their advice somewhat, given they are a multi-national chain. They have put two of their MOT guys through the new training and said;
A...
That's ok. Its not mine, its DubDub's, I'm sure he will pleased to hear it is liked though. Agree with the others, if its track work you will be doing, go with something better than V-Maxx or K-Tec. I plumped for Bilstein B14's on mine, and have been happy with them;
