Fair play, to be honest, the more people who change from the original wheels - the more unique mine will become. Win, win. :approve:
Cheers, Magpie. Not quite a Vee......but once the ITB's are on i'll be happy.
If you want to maximise space, have one of the work tops on heavy industrial hinges, that you can keep flush on the wall or lower/raise when you want to work. A bit like an ironing board, but connected to the wall. Needs to have a strong support/base mechanism when up and being used though! A...
Chips post above sums it up quite nicely really. I knew I was getting ITB's, and I needed the belts done so Cams it was for me. If not, I'd have RS2'd. The sell on part didn't register for me either as I'm likely to keep the car as a trackday toy for some time.
Yeah the manual link is no longer active. What part of changing the brake discs? It's a pretty straight forward job on the fronts, rears slightly less so.
All this discussion about the figures. OP has had his done, 20bhp rise. I've had mine done, 23 bhp rise. Starting to get some consistency on the difference here, whatever the rolling road used was....
As OP said, I'm happy with how my car drives, and I'm tempted on a trip to Charlies at SRR to...
Looks great, good work Si. I am still planning on sending you my bullets and a few interior bits and bobs......the quality of the work looks epic. I just need to figure out colour scheme!!
Not the lowest, i'm more of an OEM stance / improved handling man tbh! Can't believe how low some people have gone. The ride must be shocking, but each to their own...
Basically everything Budgie said. And yes, membership is well worth it.
I have spent about £4k on mine since last April, slowly but surely getting it more track focused. Started with brakes, then suspension (Bilstein Coilovers), just done Cams and induction, now onto ITBs. I'll finish with...
He definitely isn't making that power. Mine only got there with 438 cams, custom induction, exhaust and plenty of remapping.

Some people just can't help coming across in their adverts like utter mouthbreathers.
Full service history, seems to have a lot of paper work. This flamer has to be worth a look surely, reduced to £1500 now;

Flamer ftw everytime! Oh, and on the miles front, agree with the others - care and...
I have to be in Norfolk for work that day now, hoping to be back in time, but if i'm late - how long do we think this will go on for. Don't want to turn up at 9 pm for everyone to have left.....
Looks nice. Flamer FTW everytime, I am a little biased though. What you doing to sort the panel? Agree in keeping it OEM, same as Steve's and mine really. Only add on to Steve's that I've done which I'd recommend from a looks perspective are spacers. Chippens is a great OEM example aswell...
