Subtler the better for me. OEM+, but with mods focused on improving performance. First car isn't mine, second is.
Standard;
Mine (what I call OEM+)
The fact its track is wider, lower, handles better, stops 10x better, and will soon hopefully 'go' significantly better, doesn't mean it...
Agree with the other guys, good write up and nice to know its based in ownership 'fact' as opposed to speculation. Welcome to CS by the way. Any mod plans for the clio, and we need pics!
Seen it from pistonheads, but it's still an epic save nonetheless. Love the way he gets out and wanders around checking for issues. Cool as a cucumber. If it had been me I'd have binned it in panic on the first dab of oppo.
Re: Cub 172's Flamer Project
I'll be there, see above, its booked in for some work after the RR day so i'll be going home in one of theirs! Be good to get a look at yours, I had a look this wkd and it is sagging slightly. See you on the 21st mate!
Re: Cub 172's Flamer Project
Right, a busy weekend spent on the flamer and a mates 68 Mustang notchback. Update time then, which means i'm going to re-order the to-do list on here and start scratching things off as I go along over the next couple of years. But of a lengthy post i'm afraid, but...
Cheers man, I'll have a look at your thread. I'm now thinking keep bullets silver, but do text flame red, then keep the rest of the externals it standard.
I have seen one Ph2 flamer with white wheels;

Re: Cub 172's Flamer Project
Mmm, i'll have a look into this Will. You can help me at the RR day at K-tec if you like ;). It may just be the angle of the photo as JMS fitted the exhaust prior to me buying it and doesn't seem to be sagging.....
It was very tasty. Spotlessly clean somehow, unless he'd literally driven off his drive a second ago, which would explain it.
Mine on the other hand, after 1.5hrs on the M40 was caked in s*it.
Mmmm, you may be right. I haven't really given it a huge amount of thought to be honest. Hence me asking on here I suppose.....
I'll get searching see if I can dig out some flamers with differing accents.....if you know any can you point me in their direction please....
After the forums opinion really. I have a completely standard ph2 flamer 172 (well standard externally ;)) bar the splitter, spacers and Bilsteins. Photos here;

In the long term its going to be stripped internally...
Interesting, starlets seem to be all over the forum at the mo.

Private reg, starts N6, lowered with what looked like rotas? I was the flamer with private reg N6 OKC coming the other way...
Yours looked nice, very clean. Mine was filthy!
