Flamer, agree with the majority, seeing yours on turinis has persuaded me to keep mine on the standard rims. Those seats are needed in my life so badly.....
Also depends on if it's lowered/going to be lowered. I went with 15mm eibach all round, and lowered on Bilsteins.
Pics are here;

Mines been 10/10 since I bought it in May. I'm hoping it stays that way......
Its due for some significant mechanical love end of Jan, so i'm hoping it will tick on happily for another 76k if well looked after.
Re: Cub 172's Flamer Project
Thanks chris!
On the whole I am really happy with them. Its not set at a ridiculously unpractical height, still gets over speed bumps but zero body roll and a lot sharper on twisties. Also feels a lot more planted at speed. Its yet to get seriously tracked so i'll...
Ps. If it helps on deciding whether to lower or not, here is mine on Bilsteins, and the ride is fine IMO.

Looks nice. But I am a little biased....
I know what you mean about the seating, took a while for me to get used to it.
Any other modding plans? Engine etc?
To be honest it's a farcical debate. I don't think it's a 172/182 vs 197/200 debate. Neither are 'slow' and yes I'd be staggered if a standard 200 didn't beat a 182 around a track when driven by someone with half a brain. The thing is, 200's are £7000 to £8000. That's z3m, 350z, good s2000 and...
17k in 12 months on a 911. I did go in with my eyes open and knew I'd make a loss though, agree with other above, I'll never expect to make money off a car unless it's a classic, as long as I enjoy them while I have them I'm happy!
Cheers guys, I think I am going to keep the 90mm trumpets, as the power is primarily what i'm after.
I think I am going to go down the aerocatch flushplus route, and get them sprayed flame red (hopefully by Spray Shack on here). That will have to satisfy my desire for sleeper / OEM+ external...
Just found this which kind of answers my questions, still be interested to see any photos though...

Guys and Gals,
In the first half of 2012 the clio will be blessed with some Cams and ITBs amongst other goodies (as long as the GF isn't monitoring the bank balance). My questions for this part of the forum are on the bonnet pins. First question is, I assume bonnet pins are a must as the...
I know I didn't put them in, unsure of the previous owner. It's a near twin of yours, bar the exhaust. Clearly good taste ishare
Can't beat a good flamer.
