Just noticed this, I should know better, I thought I put it in general automotive blah blah
do me a solid and put a link to my thread as my 'car' like I've seen a few people with :o
Tapered sleeve would be my choice.
get it welded up a few times and hopefully it'll come out sounding like jonffs old ph1 (sounded like an absolute monster lol)
As said, give it a good detail when you first get it; strip everything off (tar, iron etc) clay, polish, then use one of the mentioned sealants and keep on top of it with a quick pressure wash/show it a wash mitt once a month
Rokkor coilovers! Best £120 I spent on my old car, then sold them on for a similar price :)
rs grill
rota grid alloys?
cup spoiler
Win
...all of those you can sell on when you sell the car so you won't really lose any money
Someone on 197.net sent a sprint spoiler off for spraying. Left the car with them for it to be fitted and received a message later saying they couldn't fit it as the spoiler was too bent to fit right, and there was a dip in the middle.
i thought "slight fault in the moulding process maybe...
that really winds me up lol. I despise when people pronounce 'th' as 'f'. Uneducated, inbred c***s.
I know you're taking the piss, I just had to get that out there haha
Good tyres and coilovers (you can sell the coilovers on when you sell the car)
anything else is pissing in the wind. I used to have a 1.4 16v, modified it, saw no gains, lost out when I sold it on
