There is a foam 'seal' on the bottom of the spoiler foot and a plastic bush inside the tailgate. But I think it'll be good practice to rust proof the hole anyway. Number 8 on the pic guide says to rust proof it... Although that's not obvious lol cheers :D could've had this fitted today :(
