Re: 197 Gearbox's All 197s will have them due this year or next. Ask the seller if they'll do the belts or knock £600 off the price mine was due belts when I bought it and I got the dealer to pay rstuning to change them :)

260 iirc daves point is valid actually. It may be easier/cheaper to buy a sub £1500 172 and fit dynamique bumpers to it if you want a sleeper

elephant/admiral group do a 'free mods' policy type thing. they say 'if you crash theyll only pay out for standard parts' - swings and roundabouts and give neil at greenlight a call on here. they are very competetive and offer members a discount. could help with mods too

he charged me £5 for 4 sidestrips (2 doors and 2 rear quarters) with 16V bullets intact. cant see it being much for handles :)

not sure where that is hence the question sorry :P go to the scrappy in shields (theyre cheap) and get a pair of door handles. give them to the spray guy then fit them in your own time, rather than messing about and having no handles on your car for a couple of days

ive heard of someone getting their insurance voided due to an aftermarket gear stick and a ally look fuel cap cover and ive read that if you crash, they look over your car... but if you crash and kill someone, they pull the car to bits looking for maps, cams etc. could just be hear say though
