Yeah it may not need fitted depending on the damper your fitting maybe, you'll know if you need it when you tighten the top mount prior to fitting it into the car, the play is obvious to see, search on here and it'll show you the washer somewhere, I don't have any pics unfortunately
There's a daft washer you need to fit with these topmounts or they knock, I had to fit it using B14 coilovers, it's either that or the bearing, I'd say washer first with that amount of play tbh
Be very wary letting someone else touch the engine before sending it back, as that more than likely will totally void the warranty, as right now they say there isn't an issue, very easy to switch blame.
I'd only use someone else should the problem not get resolved, you won't be able to...
Just take it back, it needs to be tested, likely a ring issue if it's down on power, if it is and you keep driving it it'll soon if not already be a liner issue also 🫣
Bilstein is all you'll need, I ordered mine direct from Germany years ago which was much cheaper, I guess you still can, I couldn't find the link I used though 🫣
I would defo recommend fitting a good set of all weather's for winter, them p zeros are a summer tyre really.
I run goodyear vector 4s in winter and they are fine in the snow/rain, other tyre I run is the ps4s for summer, it's not the best in very cold weather imo
The one linked above was the only one I could see online, I'm looking to get one soon also fitted in the garage, such a chore fighting the standard plastic shyte
My mate powdercoats them to replicate the diamond cut look, seems most want them done this way as it lasts much longer, think he's around 300 for a set of 20's, that's dipped, blasted, repaired and coated
You need to match the + & - on the controller with the wrist straps, only way to get them apart if fitted incorrectly is a very hard pull, they do lock on hard if fitted wrong, there's also a little white lock switch at the bottom to release them
Also looking to get a Karcher K5 power control or whatever it is, comes with a 5yr guarantee so seems good value at 360quid, comes with the patio cleaner which i need! Any other suggestions around the same value, nilfisk etc?
Two coats of bilt hamber uc has fairly held up on mine over the years, needs topped up afyer 2yrs I'd say and discolours slightly,I I've mine out in all weather, still looks good underneath 9yrs on 👍
What would you happily pay for it?wouldn't say they are worth much, fitting cost with a run on the rollers isn't cheap for not much if any gains at all
I run the standard cup suspension on my 275 and must agree, it is so so good at dealing with our poor road surfaces, big bumps, heavy camber etc you can push on very hard and it settles quickly, I would love for it to be a little lower at the front by an inch or so for the looks, but scared to...
Only one of mine as I never take photos of my cars 🫣😂 had it about 10yrs now and it's pretty good condition, underside was restored by me 8 yrago, and I redid inside the wheel arches last year so they look like new again.
Plan is to do touch ups on the underside next year then not sure whether...
If you have the rails and rear plates and you know where they are to be fitted, go to your local small engineering firm, they'll weld them in on a Saturday morning for some cash maybe, wouldn't take no time if the seat was out etc
