Na i thought it had but luckily it wasnt, i had a dodgy pedal sensor and shut it down into limp home mode, the instant loss of power made me thing the belt had gone!! :)
Iv got an old max power mag indoors and some american guy is running 580hp out of a blown civic lump!!!
Reckons it can blow a nex viper away with ease????
I would advise heavily not to get one!! I paid £250 from sanspeed in Bexleyheath who are a genuine simota stockists and apart from it sounding good it was absolute pelt!!!! If anything it makes it sluggish!!
Panel, inlets and a remp will be better value!!
Duno looks it though, the JMS boys did temp readings in the bay and that wheel arch is the coolest place by far. Just be careful though because when i changed my battery the one i replaced it with is a little bit longer so it restricts room in the arch!!
I have a powertec cone filter indoors...
£100, it was just sitting in my shed otherwise. Its such a tight fit in our bays that the outer leather rim gets battered and it has this really sharp aluminium lip that conects to the induction bend that if it moves slightly it cuts into the coolant pipe, i ended up going through 3 pipes!! lol...
Well kind of, mines been prepared by JMS so i have:
matched inlets
PTFFE gaskets
Ktec Stealth zorst
K&N panel
reworked airbox so it has no upper CAF (made more power this way)
No accoustic valve
Group N remap
And just generally lightened
Taking the top CAF from th airbox makes it pretty loud...
Yeah good choice when i was having some work done by JMS they explained that apart from a maxogen the best gains from the airbox is by fitting an upgraded panel filter and removing the top CAF and accoustic valve, its also plenty loud enough when you give it the beans!!!
