Pug 307 splitter is a good choice if your on a budget and need one ASAP, walk into any dealer and pick one up for £30, its longer so you can trim it down for a spot on fit, being plastic compound you dont have to worry about stonechips, can be fitted in half hour!!
As above, if i were to paint a red omp brace do I need to use heat resistant paint??

Mines got an 8k limiter and mine will do 140 without too much hassle but dont like to do it very often as you dont want something going wrong at that speed!!
My oil cap cover did exactly the same thing, luckily i found it down by the alternator. The clip had snapped off so all i did was use some of the pads I got with my numberplate to hold it in place, just means the whole cover has to come off if i want to get to it. :)

Yeah im going for a show peice bay eventually so its a work in progress. Polishing the inlets is next on the list!!
Re-painted my engine cover this week as i wasnt happy with it being blue. It didnt really look right so i went for ford graphite grey which suits the car better with the althracite wheels and bullets.

I painted my engine cover Ford Graphite Grey at the weekend and it got me thinking randomly why they never got that colour.
Was talking with a mate last night and was wondering why wernt the MK2 RS clios ever released in grey??
The standard MK2 clio came in grey but the RS didnt, i kinda think they would look good in a nice graphite grey colour????
Mines on 77k now and apart from changing the battery iv had nothing go wrong with it in 2 years, I have mateched inlets, Group N remap and panel filter and feels better than ever. My service history says it had a new gearbox and clutch at 45k though. If its been looked after and serviced...
