Simple. Sort the compression and continue. It doesn't need to go further down the money pit route IMO. Standard base/internals is reliable. Sorting the compression is peanuts in comparison and then just get it back on the RR for mapping.

I'd offer him £1K and do as above.

Tips; 1) label all the wiring loom, so you know exactly what goes where on re-fit. 2) when you take the bolts out and remove a part, but the bolts back in the area they came out of. So easy to mix them up. 3) your going to need a tray for coolant and gearbox oil when you pull the drive shafts...

I thought you didn't have an LSD, but thought I'd ask, as I can see that inside wheel spinning when it's lifting. An LSD would completely transform the car, especially on your over steer, you can just power out of it and not loose much momentum. An LSD would be my first 'go to' mod after...

Really loving these vids, I think you've got a good balance between in car and and other track cars/fly bys etc. Proper good. I think you could get away with doing 2 vids per track day, the ones your currently doing, to entertain the masses, then I think you could add a link in for the purists...

I haven't, the interior loom/dash is completely intact. I was hoping I'd be able to split the engine loom without touching the interior/dash.

Ahhh...assuming that's what everyone does when they remove the loom? I'll double check and take pictures today, and hope I don't have to cut anything. Would be good to have a few replies off one of the race car guys who have removed their loom, and cut thr redundant wires down. I hate...

This was one of my thoughts. I'll have another look today. It's daft really. Literally just this one cable left and the loom can come out. On any other loom thread on here, I've not heard of anyone mention this one being difficult, so there must be an easy way.

I couldn't find the end of the cable. I tried looking for it down by the bonnet pull cable handle. This is where I'm stuck.

A 'cable' I should have said. There's a few colour wires inside the tape, it runs into the bulk head besides the bonnet pull cable.

Hi guys, Currently removing the engine bay loom, everything is off and ready to remove, apart from 1 wire. There is one wire running into the interior of the car, along aside the bonnet cable pull. Where would I find this last wire, to unplug it. Thank you .

If the engine he buys comes with the inlet - then it'll be fine?
