the thread is named - "CHEAPEST" way to have a bullet..... - so i said solid state devices are usually alot more expensive than camcorders with av in....hence why i said it in my post :)

i got a bullet camera....needed 12v from the battery and phono connector wiring to it, the phono lead plugs into my camcorder into the AV IN, then i just hit record. not all camcorders have av in though unfortunately. getting a camera with av in is probably cheaper than a solid state recorder...

less spam you muppits....anyway heres the finished product...well sort of if you didnt know, this is the rear middle seatbelt thing on the roof... i wanted to make a rear facing mount for the video camera, so set about using this....and part of a tripod so its adjustable... and wola...

you need to be sure you're hub spacing is 54mm, mine was 58mm, i got the FK highsports from 2modified.com and they fit fine
