I will never understand why people badge up their cars to make them something they are not. I bet it still has drums not the back too ??? if so thats a dead give away, plus it hasnt got all of the other RS bits on it.

my exhaust on my valver was standard (as was the rest of the car) but when i hit the accelerator it sounded lovely (esp when it came on cam) it wasnt that quiet. when the car was sat there just ticking over, it sounded good, it had a slight rumble to it, it wasnt loud though.

looking good, one thing is though im not a fan of turbines. i think that they are one of the worst sets of wheels renault ever produced (nothing personal to ya though mate)

thats alright, get a silver cup !! The only thing i dont like on cups are the seats. Also i wasnt aware that they had a/c (i knew climate was an option) just never new about air con as standard.

im not a fan of the covers ata all, i do like the one rear lights Has, has on his clio though. if you cant stretch to those, leave them standard.

can you contest it ?? my mate got £2000 for whiplash, plus my mate (the passenger) who whacked his head on the windscreen (the doghnut wernt wearing a seatbelt) he got £800

the door strips on them look proper wrong !! they look well out of place, plus that rear wing looks like it belongs on a nova down southend. the silver one with the white wheels in the second pic looks ok.

true, most of the cups on there are 172s, certain things in the ads give it away, such as zenon lights & leather interior etc, plus the colour of them as well (since when did cups come in monaco blue !! like some of them on there)

only one car can get away with them (imo) and thats a 172 cup, as its the only clio which came with them.

i had an aoptional £250.00 excess on my valver (the total was £450.00 !!!) the insurance was only £416.00 f/c on it !! the £200.00 charge is standard, im 24 btw, but when you 25 the excess goes down any way (that was with elephant though, admiral may be a bit different)

looking gooooood !!! i recently sold my phase 2 valver, that was a mint un-modded sports blue one with factory grey leather. both leather & standard valvers are very rare now !

try elephant & bell direct (they are the same company as admiral) the only thing with that insurance group of companies is that their excesses are high ! hence the low premium.

he means take off the top of the dash & have a look at the connections on the back of the dials etc. it will be mission of a job though.

I hope there are enough to go round, im thinking of getting a mk1 next year, I will get a mk2 though if they come down more & i can afford it !

welcome to the club ! On a phase 1 the black bit at the bottom of the light is straight, on a ph2 it goes up at the side (you will see if you look at it) i prefer pahse 2 rear lights. the paint code is on the vin plate - under the bonnet, above the driver side head light, 3 number on the...

i dont like turbines at the best of the times, but they look awful in the photoshop, plus i agree with superfastdans comment.

as i said in the other thread it looks spot on with those wheels. i dont like the rear lights though, i think standard phase2 one swould look much better.

all of my familt are with green flag. there were a few posts on this the other week mate.
