if it were me, i go & see it for real before bidding on it,
photos of cars do not show them in their true light - i have seen many a mint car from pics, yet actually been to see a complete pile of cr*p.
my advice, go and look at it first (if it sounds worth viewing)
when i was 21 i paid £1200 f/c with highway, with no ncd & 350.00 excess.
thats on a standard valver & just me on the policy.
how times change, now im 24 with 3 yrs ncd & its £360.00 f/c !!!
sweet.
sorry bit i think that valver on borbets looks pants.
im not a fan of ronal turbos either really tbh, however Winston you have done a great job on your valver & they look spot on.
god knows what the dude in the elise was doing ?
was it a normal mk2 elise?
as after 60 they are pants.
Tom what did you run the 1/4 in when you had your coupe?
surely if some one did buy that cup & put it on a set of rollers (not the LAD ones) LAD could be done by trading standards ?
as most of their power figures seem to be b*llocks to me !
i read it form time to time,
im a bit annoyed that i missed the one with the v6 buyers guide though, i went to tescos the other week (9th may) & they were already selling junes !
its a very good magazine, i used to love performance car too when that used to be out.
I cant believe how much they seem to have dropped as well.
mine was up for 4k three years ago !
i paid less than that for it.
Mines un modded & its got factory leather too, i have spent loads keeping to a high standard, to theres no way id accept 2k for it !
Im selling it next month, i havent...
adding your mum will always in my experience reduce it, i guess because of her age.
another thing, if you tell them you drive another car on a regular basis that will reduce it too - weird i know. I suppose that works that if your driving some thing else theres less change of you smashing your...
elephant, never had a problem with them at all,
although admiral are the same company they are cheaper, so i will use admiral next month when i re-new it, however i have heard that their service is shocking !
i dont get it !
is that plate real ?
as im sure the uk plates dont have zs in them, i know that irish plates are like MAZ 3839, or IBZ 1234 etc, but that ones a uk reg plate !
i never knew you could get Zs on old type number plates ?
(i know the Z is at the end of the letters) before any one says its an M reg plate & not a Z reg !!
this may be a daft question, but do all of you drive them stripped out all of the time?
or do you just do it for track days etc?
I love the stripped idea, but as my valver is my only car i prefer a bit of comfort.
my old boss used to have a black T reg itr which he got new, that thing revved for ever.
I do like the ctrs (especially the wheels on them) but they are way too big (imo)
