If you are towing a car trailer with a van, would you need to do yet another test if the combined gross weight of both was more than 3.5t?
Its something I really need to get done
I know its completely up to him, and if he had the parts already then fair enough. But is there actually going to be any performance difference between having ITB's in this application over a sufficiently large single body?
If nothing else though, is it easier to make a decent plenum if you...
Regarding Ben's engine, I too was wondering why the ITB's and Charger, because as to my thinking all you will end up is an isolated runner plenum anyway.
Got all that...
You dont need a different subframe
You dont need different mounts
You dont need a different ECU
You can fabricate the lever and linkage if you are handy, or easy to buy
If you can change a gearbox you can fit a sequential
You can use a standard clutch
Mounts you dont need, drive shafts are expensive but available, gear leaver you can buy or fabricate, flat shift you can get third party quite cheap.
I would hate to use it on a road car :)

There is also evidence that you shouldnt really use the one for the dogbone anyway, as it needs the flex
Because it's their track, they can do pretty much what they want.
What is there reasons for doing it anyway? If I had to guess off the top of my head I would say insurance reasons, pretty much like most forms of motorsport these days
Its a phase 2 front end so no :p
It could be worth sending an email to oreca (www.oreca.fr), they might have some. They are like the French version of Demon Tweeks :)
They have a browsable catalogue on their website aswell
Whiteline dont do a front ARB as far as I know.
It is something I have been looking at as I can see the stupid bendy bit on the standard bar being a pain when we got to fit the engine.
Need to find some kind of Grp A blade type universal one for the front
Yeah at Swinderby, that was a really good result for you :)
Not sure what events we will be doing this year, need to start going futher afield as we seem to be running out of venues round here.
Not sure when it will be finished, first quarter next year I hope.
People keep saying we...
