its been changed recently, it used to be if its fitted it needs to work, however now they are saying that the tester cannot remove things etc to see if theres actually a bulb fitment inside... for all you know it could be a decorative lense!
so you cant fail it.
i had the same prob when i did mine and found a white wire to the starter relay needed a permanent earth in order for the starter trigger to work.
i just wired it to an earth and its fine...
it should still attempt to crank with a bad block earth.. mine just clicked (as if the starter was...
nah its easy peasy all plug and play if you get all looms ie engine, dash and depending on if the car you are transplanting to is a dynamique and 04 onwards it will need the rear and door looms also as they changed the connectors on the plugs
doors as easy as they sound are a effing nightmare...
could well be the engine mounts adusted wrongly, if the engine is "leaning" on a shaft due to it being one way or the other it would do that being load related points to something mounted flexible ie rubber mounted...
doubt its gearbox if it does it in all gears
yeah, they did a good job, and reasonable with the 30% etc etc etc
im just saying something to think about in the futre.
i've come across a fair few problems like this in the past, contaminated diesel is getting more and more a common problem with common rail..
without seeing it i couldnt...
rear one nope does sod all if you look at the way the rear axle beam is mounted,, stopping the shocks moving wont actually help anything as they dont support the axle in any way
he may of adjusted the hand brake
need to take the rear drums off and adjust the shoes manually/check for leaks its not something you can see without taking the drums off unless its really really bad and leaking out the bottom

oh and go easy on the revs on that focus, i had to put an engine in a 1.6 zetec focus before christmas as the original we can only assume snapped a rod bolt and threw the conrod AND piston out the side of the block
alot of it is just the same stuff makes things easier when deciding what to buy etc
if you read the label on the back alot of the time its the exact same stuff
