the ac panel is less easy to do,,, hard to make a guide without having pics
its self explanitory when you are looking at it but people want to be guided step by step!
yeah but they need electronic actuation... as diesels dont produce enough vacuum in the inlet manifold to actuate it like you would on a diesel
hence the vaccum pump on diesels
i didn't say it was impossible! but what im saying is whats the point?
if you are going to all that trouble (or should i say if THEY are going to all that trouble)
why not just get them to custom make you a slash cut tip and have them weld it on your old box... exactly how you want it then
you wont be able to get just an exhaust tip to look like that as 1. the standard exhaust tips downwards,, and two its too low
would need major modifications to get it to do that,, which would be harder than just fitting a custom back box
you can get it saturday via renault if you VOR the part.... you will have to collect it though
it may only be trade aswell,,, you will have to find a freindly local garage to order it up for you on a vor then you can go collect it yourself
Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project
re the rev issue... what ecu setup are you using??
did the ecu/looms come from a ph1? if so im assuming it had abs?
it may need plugging in to clip/dealer level diagnostics as there is an adjustment you can do where it reads the speed from the abs or the...
well to answer your question yes boost is boost.. but you have other things to consider physical load on engine, exhaust restriction, inlet temps (and therefor fuelling/ignition compensation) all sorts... although none of that would make up 50hp and id imagine paul would have told you if charge...
to be honest... this says alot about how this things being made.. gives you a bit of an idea about the bloke behind the things background (ie knows his stuff)
i think this is brilliant... what if he'd come on here put a picture of an inlet up on post 1 and said there you go £1500 please...
yeah,, dosn't look right at all (just my oppinion)
there is one however thats been professionally modified to fit the non sport wings looks factory,,, but even then the sideskirts dont look as nice
you need to fit the wider wings.... and you then need to fit the skirts really as they have the attachment for them on the bottom of the wings for them, look cack without
no by the looks of it you have 2 tail pipes... one silenced which has no butterfly ie open all the time...
then the un silenced one has the butterfly
so you always have one open.... you could always just run those two back in to a single exit
dents are fine rust isn't
but its tester decision on how bad corrosion is ie if its obviously weakened by rust (bends/flakes under the corrosion assesment tool) or a hole
the rust on the chassis rail you mean?? if the tester got it to deform with the corrosion assesment tool then yes... as its 30cm from a structural point (shock mount)
press the favourite button??
and no it wouldn't be any easier to get hid's what so ever headlights still have to come out (unless you have baby hands) they look crap as you dont have projecter lenses and you still wouldnt have washers
the uch are all the same you just need dealer level diagnostics to enable/disable things....
you would have to wire the level sensor direct to the uch and thats it.. as the leveling motors are already connected to the uch
same with the washer pump for them, except im fairly sure the wirings...
dont know what the oppinions have been but nope it looks better... you'd really have to go some to ruin that car
your good taste goes against all i know about women :(
obivously knackered engine in the ph1!!
i've just re read what you want to do... why not just keep the ph1 as it was with regards to the AC setup??
if you insist on fitting it as per in a cup,,, you'll need to get a cup power steering high pressure pipe.. and modify the low pressure one...
sensor rings are comically easy to change..
would much rather change one of them than a shaft as it saves me messing about with gearbox oil,,,,
and renault do list them.. partsmen struggle to find them though
i'd charge less to fit a ring than a shaft by a decent amount
everything lol basically,, nothing to worry about if you can take an engine out swappng a few ancils are the least of your worrys.
alternator setup and upper inlet mainly
