Think your right. I had a 172 im sure the dash inserts were a silver carbon effect. My 182 is just plain silver. i've coded it now anyways. as well as the exhuast which is a dead give away, the 182 steering wheel also has crusie control buttons if its a normal 182 not a cup.

Dont really get the whole euro theme, but cant expect everyone to like it. But good effort tho on the hard work thats gone into it.

I'm guess you want to remove it to spray it? I sprayed mine last week and replaced the renault sport decal

Looks great, im gonna do the same wiv my 182 wheels. Best colour I reckon is Rover Gunmetal grey. Did you prime the wheels or did you just sand them and sprayed the paint directly over it?

Just got round to my 1st set of mods, replaced indicators with silver visions, replaced all interior and sidelights with leds and reprayed my dash inserts.

Yeh got the aerodynamic kit and 17" BBS split rims on the MINI. The mini sits quite a bit lower to the ground than the 182.

After owning a PH2 172 over 2 yrs ago and LY R26 I bought my mini and had it a yr now. But I missed having a renault sport and decided to get myself back in the renault scene. Picked up my Artic blue 182 eariler on. Cant wait to get it lowered and fit a cup splitter on.

Stay clear of Milltek, worst quality exhausts I've ever used. My milltek on R26 fell completely off becasue The welds just snapped and the same thing hasppened on my Cooper S. Both systems were only couple months old.

I had a milltek on my R26, the welds all come apart and the back box fell off and now I've got a milltek system on my cooper s, the welds have gone again and had the back box replaced. I will never buy a milltek system ever again!!! Rubbish poor quality welding. :mad:

Test drove it earlier. Belts havent been done so the garage is going to do it before I have it. Knocked it down from £5495 to £5200 inc service, MOT, full tank petrol and 6 months tax. Finally buying another renault sport car after my 172 and R26. I'm going to be looking at a 04 plate 182 in artic blue. 60K miles, full service apparently. its going for £5495. No marks on the body and wheels are in perfect condition. Anything to look out for? I'll have to check if the cambelt...

I used the castrol edge sport 0W-40 in my old 172, ticked over smoother and quieter
