I have a similar problem with my williams but with the rev counter, it only works when it wants to any ideas? My five turbo before had a problem with the speedo and i never got to the bottom of it.
looks mint matey, i brought williams that was not that mint and am finding out slowley how expensive parts are for these cars. I would spend a while looking for a nice one but that willy 1 above looks very nice and has good history.
Nice work matey, you have used the bam series engine which is mental.Im about to start a turbo kit for my williams but am unsure about a few things. How much will the gear box handle, is it possible for over 400bhp with the f7r, what are the rectrictions?
I had dealings with so called tuners and most talk s**t, there power claims are mostley s**t because they run race fuel for the dyno plus whats the point in this type of mapping, live map is the only way. I wish amhed bayhoo would map renaults
Most renault dealers will get the part you need as i went in the other day to get a parcel shelf for my williams and they said it would have to come from france.
Good shout, people sometimes forget that when you drop a car the damper travel will be reduced and can sometimes mean hiting the bump stops, Also renault would have put loads of time getting the balance right between comfort and performance.
Thats a great idea as the five shell is a shite load lighter than the clio.I thought of putting a volvo 1.8 in my 5 but it seemed a lot of money for a 1.8 8v. I wish i could still do it but its becoming harder and harder to find a nice 5 shell. I would be genuinely intrested in how this pans out...
A dump valve will prolong the life of a turbo but if you have one that vents to the atmosphere they are pretty crap.If it has a recirculating one as standard and your not upping the boost leave it alone.
Re: clio cup race car project!
His dad owned Atlanta raceway in croyden i near on lived there in the summer months, nice part of the world you live in, i used to live in water lane by the White cross pub.
Its a anology, a comparison. If some prick sells you a write off and does not tell you, you lose out simple as that and some one prepared to con you out of your hard earned cash is a c**t in my book.
