thats my experiance of them,,, un biased.
i've now put renault mounts back on as
1 i couldnt stand the banging for minimal improvement in handling
2 every time i put it on the tracking gauges it had changed
best bet is to check it yourself
i had the compbrake ones and they are utter sh*t
nobody else seems to have clocked yet that they dont actually fit the turret properly
ie when not tightened up they slop about in the turret
yes they are solid once tightened,, but bumps in the road etc jolt them causing camber/caster...

ever felt the difference in weight between a 1.2 assembled front subframe and the same from a 172????
mines on 1.2 running gear and has survived 5k of abuse so far
thats the ones,, they are such a nice wheel,, 15inch and the offset is much better
(old wheels looked lost in the arches)
they are a stepping stone to comp mo's lol
finally got the new wheels bolted on.
considering its on 1.2 running gear still the 30 offset fills the wide archers surprisingly well.
question is it could do with 10mm spacers on the front, but cant find any in hubcentric?? are these still relatively safe as i would have thought the spigot...
is that not someones goes by the name of storm force or something like that?
i was around lakeside.. i was following a drift (i know it was a drift car as the arse end was bouncing all over the road due to locked diff) RX7 last night around that sort of area... was going to follow it and see...

all im saying is, mechanics arent born with an enclyopedic knoledge of how every engine bay is layed out..
yes you can figure it out... but finishing other peoples jobs takes twice the time it would if you started the job..
hence many not taking it on...
taking it aparts a peice of piss, putting it back together involved a few techniqes etc that need to be thought about for a decent rebuild
you also need to think about the fact that unless i had done countless of those particular car personally, i wouldnt take the job on if somebody else had...
wishbones, common as anything,, change about 3 a day
12 quid a go from euro car parts, and half hour a side to change if you have never done it before
just to expand on that a bit,, its the forward bushes on the lower suspension arms that wear..
but wishbones are so cheap you just...
you cant really go by how tight it was to undo as you have to account for rust/the inital crack as it were
yeah wheelbearing would do it.. put it on axle stands and run it up in 1st then put it in neutral and switch if off.. youl need a mate to see if you are getting vibrations up the...
it dosn't fit the car.
i shortened mine, and if you fit it starting at the backbox so it sits perfect and work forward the center section points at the floor
had to cut it and bend it up
