nope that was my problem.. the door loom plugs were cut off on both sides (car ends) and i had to figure out the wiring myself.. couldnt get hold of a wiring diagram for it.
once you get stuck in its not too hard to figure out though.
if its not the motor or switch my guess is the door loom...
i last worked on these a good 8 months ago now so i cant remember fully but the switch has a main live and earth to it, then it earths out some small 5v feeds to power it up and down

you cant really do it wrong mate thats a standard single flare... double flares are used for unf fittings and female unions
as for length of the union it dosn't matter as it will still bottom against the flare/inner wall of the flexy pipe
nope or you'll get them popping out the spring seats over bumps.. makes for a bit of a scary experiance..
lowering springs are the same length as standard but the height difference is engineered in to the tension on the spring
pipes are quite long they join in the middle of the car
pipe is 3/16.. you can get the unions from motor factors but i found a bag of 25 metric ones on ebay for like 2 pound so i bought a few bags of metric and unf
can be done on the car too if you get a flaring tool that suibtable.. its...
just a thought, i cant see what the point of removing the rear seats is if you are just gonna fill it with boards sound deadening and loads of other weight?
to check all the dash earths the whole bottom half of the dash needs unbolting (on a ph2 anyway) as it has earths bolted all the way across the top about 5 in total
i dont care how accurate they are, you've missed the point.
all im saying is... if i had a choice of A somebody who knows a particular car well and drives it every day, telling me after making a modification it feels like its gone from a 1.4 to a 2.0 in terms of power..
or B a bit of paper...
its a fcuker not easy at all mechanicaly its fine and electric wise it would be ok if you can get hold of ALL and i do mean ALL the wiring looms from a similarly specced 172 ie if your car is a base model it wants to be a 172 cup donor or if its quite a specced dynamique you'd want a ff172 182...
lights are a peice of piss to wire up mate i'll do it for you in half hour if you want to bring it to me.
buy yourself a power probe.
all you do is find the earth and join that up.. then go through living each pin see what lights up
if left indicator lights up living pin 1... stick the...
what about removing the texture? a mate (who use to be a sprayer) said sometimes on the old fiesta wing mirrors and etc that were textured black when you try to flat them down they go almost fluffy (if that makes any sence) and you have to spray something on it first? anyone shed any light...

and, for the record, RR results arent worth the paper they are written on in terms of pre decat/post decat results.
what would you prefer a bit of paper with some numbers on it or a car that feels physically quicker to you?
what top rubber washer mate? mine didnt come with any.
if you dont want to bolt them or space them out somehow so it cant move the only fix is get the feckers tighter
they are a pants design i would have bought the mark fish ones if i'd have known.
