yeah as said you just need the cup alternator i tried to make a normal one fit but it was turning out too much ag
oh and the bolts for it too
the pas lines are different too as the pumps in a different place and they are silly money
oh yesh,,, dropped a clanger though trying to get in with the club aparently theres 1 or 2 passes left and 3 of us (i think) going so we shall see
oops i forgot what meet i was on about i've got trax on the mind...
i need some sleep lol, yeah i'll be at southend only 10 15 mins away
nope thats screwed mate,,
could build it up with ali tig welding it and machine it back to shape,, but thered be so much work in it you could have bought a new wheel...
plus the fact that once you have heated a localised area in the welding process it will allways be weak around the weld...
im sure you asked the exact same thing the other day?
the wings on the sport are wider, and the bumper is also wider to accomadate this... also the sport panel gap between the bumper and wing is dead straight and the normal ph2 has a kick up at the end,
as i said the other day it can be made...
dirty word,,, it will be getting 172 running gear eventually i've got all the stuff for the front but not fitting it untill i can sort the power steering setup..
rear will get a 172 beam to widen the track
dont like spacers of that sort of size.. bodge imo
cooling fan wont work either,,, i have had similar issues with a 1.2 8v turned out to be a broken wire bang in the middle of a section of engine loom...
i'd go as far as to say a diagram wont really help you.. get stuck in stripping the loom back,,
get yourself a power probe then you can...
some white compomotive mo's or similar (or anything white actually) on to this please?
im useless with photoshop and have tried to colour the ones that are on it white myself, but they just seem to come out a lighter shade of silver or look too fake
ta muchly
im not really up for reading 17 pages, but i've seen the foglight surrounds they look fantastic.. but do you produce the same item except with a flange on the back for a cold air pipe to fit on to? something in a size a pipe could be easily sourced??
if so prices?
not round lakeside this arvo,,
been around brentwood/warley area on the lanes only tescos i've been near was gallows corner...
some bugger must have another white one ! :dapprove:
v6 would be a stupid idea imo... it does the job in the clio but if you were going to all that work pound for pound there are much better alternatives
someone needs to put an evo 7 engine in the back of a v6.... one day
assuming it is just the sound of the fan on fast speed, then all i can suggest is councelling if you are embarresed by it..
suppose you could video it just incase it is a dodgey noise
bit of both,, aircon massively increases engine temps especially so on the 1.2 as the aircon condenser is built in to the radiator.. hence why fan runs on slow speed permenantly with ac on untill temps rise
thats not true at all, if it stays with the garage its a free retest, if it leaves the garage to be repaired there is a retest fee chargable (this is set out by the ministry not garages) half price is what the ministry suggest but 10 pound is the going rate
finish will be as good as the bodyshop are capable of really ranging from perfect to crap?
to fit the 172 front bumper you will also need the wings and the skirts which all bolt on unless you want to modify it, and the 172 rear bolts straight on
is the whole back of the block wet all along where the head bolts up?
looks wetter around the cam belt cover could be a camshaft oil seal or possibly one of the core plugs in that area
