yeah or they dont really come out the same you can see the other colour through the panel gaps etc or at least prep/spray the edges with spray cans the same colour of the car then get it pro painted on the car to blend it in

well yeah but theres no point for what it takes you may aswell just change the valves and lap them in will take a couple hours tops and you can change the stem seals while you are at it probably be cheaper and will be a much better build knowing the condition of the seals/valve sealing

you'll never hold it on with a cable tie being a plastic boot they are useless best fix is to cut the boot off and fit a stretch rubber one with a cone, then secure that with cable ties it'll never come off the clips renault use are no good to man or beast without the proper tool best bet...

you sure its not missfiring? that would throw fuel down the exhaust and make the cat glow red hot

cheers mate, wash your mouth out lol i dont do spacers. im bolting all the 172 front running gear on it but im not doing that untill i sort the power steering situation think i'll just make some blocks to bolt behind the stub axles on the rear

mk2 ph1 have an inertia switch next to the battery, mk2 ph2 dont have one at all the engine ecu is linked to the airbag ecu which shuts the fuel pump in the event of an accident
