i had loads of scratches in my windscreen when i bought my 172, i bought a windscreen repair kit and it got every single scratch out, well worth the money. looks like new, try http://www.glassscratchrepair.co.uk thats where I bought mine from.

I wouldnt pay that much. i got my flame red from a renault dealer, its a 51 plate wiv 40k miles for £6500.

u'll have to get offset pins, 2 b honest get the cheapest make u can. its only a bulb and they all do the same thing. i got mine off ebay. i only paid £1.50 for a pair. looks better tho having silver bulbs.

I got a snooper S3 neo, only cost about £130, its well worth the money. Its got GPS and laser detection. nothing fancy on it but it does the job well.

Well if the spoiler and the silver paint was removed it would look better. I aint fussed on spoilers like that on hatchbacks.

I dont know, could always get 2nd hand calipers off a write. have a look on ebay. theres usually a 172 or 182 thats being broken. The calpiers are easy to paint, but it is a all day job. you gotta take each wheel off and prep each caliper and then do bout 3 coats of paint. I only did 2 and it...

Get a zetec-s. Used to have, actually the best car i've driven. the driving position is better than a clio.

Looks good,reckon u should paint the calipers to tidy it up, i got silver brakes on my flame red. the exhuast is mint, I don't like it when people put exhuasts on without cutting the bumper. How do u cut a hole thats perfectly round in the bumper?

Just did mine in silver, reckon they look good silver. they look new more than anything. also thought i'd fit a cold air feed pipe while i was waiting for the paint 2 dry. lol

Thanx guys, yeh maybe yellow would stand out to much. I think i'll go for the red then instead. although silver does sound quite nice as well. just have to paint each side a different colour and see which looks best! LOL!

Hi everyone, I got a flame red 172 and want to paint my brake calipers, what do you reckon the best colour would be to paint them? I reckon red or yellow would suit my flame red. Anyone with any flame red pics with there calipers painted? Mike
