not really, i've done this with a 2.0xe corsa on a fellas driveway..
use the engine crane to hoik the rest of the car up over the engine.
need a crane with a long reach though
i really couldnt remember (or even think of) that bolt and spring that you are talking about.
stripped one down today and can confirm this.
love to know how its found its way in there though
yeah i little pen light or similar is handy for this.
also check the new valve (oil the stem) slides freely in and out of said guide
if it is cracked you still arent nesseceraly knackered valve guides just punch out but sourcing them could be tricky.
i'll be honest i've not stripped one down...
right i've had a bit of a search around and there are so many answers on the subject
obviously its down to personal preference, but i would like some guidance as im shelling out for 4 of them so dont want it to be wasted.
its my converted 1.2/182
16in. laguna wheels (sorry not sure of offset...
i just got bosch as they were cheap and happened to be what my parts supplier brought down.
been in it 500 miles so far (since engine was installed) and its still tickedyboo.
fail to see why its ngk or die
seen so many people say it but no one back it up
not saying its wrong, just that...
how would i, set about swapping the shift light and abs light?
ie when shift light would normally be on the abs lights up and vice versa
or even just that way, not to bothered about the other way round
no particular reason behind this, just wondering ;)
its the fact that the stock ecu calculates its load via manifold pressure, which is ok.. untill you start messing with individual bodies with no forum of plenham chamber
you aint gonna have an awful lot of manifold pressure seen as you can see the valves looking down the throats of the bodies
garage wont take it on tbh its too much hassle esp wiring.
you could do it on the floor to be honest theres no real problems as long as you do it infront of a garage so you can wheel all your stuff back in when you are finished for the night
would have done mine at home if i had a garage
you can check the gaps no problem - its just pointless as its easy to see if they are knackered, you just cant gap them as the electrode is too delicate.
ngks are pfr6e-10
im running bosch plugs in mine hell of a lot cheaper and runs perfect
when you said you checked the wiring before what exactly did you look at?
take the amp fuse out or just disconnect it anywhere and see if the noise goes
never ever seen a bit of spring part company with the car!
changed countless broken springs on various cars in the past but the broken bit has always been wedged between the other coils
fair play to you for doing the job properly
cant see why not as the sumps the same capacity being f series block no? + to be honest i've never really looked at the level on the dash i just check it manually
i'd order one tommorow but i dont want to buy that and the gauges to find they arent compatible with the aftermarket guages
and...
