its not that you need the bumper off if you know what i mean
you need the headlight out (gives you an idea of how akward it is when you cant even see the part you are supposed to be working with) and of course to get that out its bumper off
i use the 5 pounds and 2 insult method.
give my bosnian freinds at the car wash 5 pound insult them both and i get a clean car delivered back to me in a few minutes.. looking better than if i spend a whole weekend doing it
its mainly from cold its very boggy hesitant on cold running running lower octane fuel.
cant really work out why but i'd rather run it on what it likes

depends how i drive with the 1.2 one tank would do me a month fairly easily now i need to fill it up (with optimax or it runs pants) every 2 weeks
i spent that in parts to do the job properly mate and i'd want at least a grand in labour to do it again unless i was given a complete donor car to work with
its not as plug and play as people make it sounds parts are too hard to come by you have to make do with what you can find
ashy, you wont get a pic mate as its too dark under the dash.
the uch runs EVERYTHING interior wise, including a few engine functions the starter signal and a few other bits and peices go through it
if you stick your head under the passenger side dash of a 172 you cant miss it black box with...

would advise you to fit a bias valve mate
nothing scaryer than being on the brakes on a slight suggestion of a corner and the back end kicking out
especially with the weight of the engine there to throw you round

so just by spinning the wheel the engine rocks backwards and forwards? something major wrong there is the wheel hard to turn?
does it rock side to side ie ns to os or back and forth front to back
its just got a water leak,, lack of water will cause it to overheat and spit whats left out of whereever it can
just get the leak diagnosed fix it run it up then see how it is
