if i go any quicker than that mate it will want 2 fuel stops lol.
no theres about 4inches of snow outside at the moment so im off out there to do some wiring today as opposed to trying to kill myself
i "think" dont quote me on this cos i've never tried but im sure if you were just pulling the release bearing off you could get away with just unbolting bell housing and engine mount poss lower ball joints and dragging the lot shafts and all over to the side
had some success like that on cars...
yep i modified my 182 cat to fit, i removed its innards but could have quite easily left them in, chop it straight down where its welded in the middle it needs about 2 inches taking out from memory then weld it back together
yeah i bolted the lot in in one go, needed the car on the road quicker than i could find/buy/afford a 182-172 decat pipe.
so i cut the 182 cat open, shortened it, removed its innards and welded it back together
its nice also as it looks like a cat from underneath.
i love cars like this, they are goldmines...
so many people like yourselves cant see past the crappy sticky back plastic esque modifications and will discount it straight away.
if i were in the market for one i'd view it and probably snap it up

mine is 1.2 everything except engine and box.
its got brembo discs and eibach springs but other than that all out of the box.
i do have bigger plans for it but so far the 1.2 shafts and my modded 1.2 subframe seems to be holding up good as gold.
and in response to your other question the...
it determins how far away from the wheel you are to decide how quick the airbag comes on or something to that effect, basically stops it blowing your head off in a minor crash
bugger
dont suppose you can work out if that black is an earth?
i need to try and pick the two out from my loom,, would be made alot easier if i can just go through earthing them
cheers
(on a mission to turn some of the christmas tree of dash lights off, lol)

Or else pay the £160 or so fee and get the car registered as a kit car as such then there no MOT for 3 years (since the car goes for SVA approval and is deemed as new as such due to the extent of the test shtye do on it) you can keep your old number...
ah,
i must admit, i drove a bmw 320d not long ago..
it had exactly the same charecteristics as i just mentioned but the kick in the back was immense.
every corner just a small nudge of the accelerator traction control comes in
subaru already make a flat 4 cat weisel engine.
what a utterly utterly stupid idea.
i've yet to drive (and in my job i've driven a few) a diesel with an engine that feels even remotely sport orientated.
you get no power at all turbo spins up you get one kick in the back then thats it the...
only takes an hour or so from here to get to the zoo, its not too much of a trek.
my car does drink though.. must fit the new lambda before i leave. lol
you can fit a powerflex lower mount but they are soft for a reason, personally it does my head in and mines stiffened up with the powerflex mount and i much prefer it but it does vibrate a bit.
if you do need a jb3 i have one for sale came from an 03 plate kangoo.
